What's Not Covered and Limitations

  • The glass replacement warranty covers defects in the workmanship performed that is related to the installation of your windshield, rear glass, door glass, or vent glass.​

  • If you experience issues such as air or water leaks, loose molding, or improper sealing due to our installation, we will correct the issue at no additional cost to you for as long as you own the vehicle - this warranty will NOT transfer to any new owner(s).​

  • A Glassperts technician will be required to inspect the the defect(s) before any warranty can be awarded.

  • The windshield repair warranty covers the damaged portion of your glass only and we guarantee that the damage will not continue to spread.

  • If the repaired chip or crack continues to spread after service, we will credit the amount of the repair towards a full windshield replacement to be performed by Glassperts Auto Glass.​

DISCLAIMER*​

During the repair process, it is possible that the chip or crack may spread - though the technician may not be at fault. Several factors that greatly increase the risk of the damaged area to spread during the repair process include:

  • The damage is NOT recent

  • Water, moisture, or debris is trapped inside the crack or chip

  • Extreme heat or intense cold

  • The impact point is larger than a penny

  • The cracks extending from or around the damaged area are larger than 2 inches in length

These rare instances are not covered by the Glassperts warranty and we are not responsible for the cost of a windshield replacement. However, we will credit the amount towards a replacement. 

  • It is also important to note that the repair of a windshield chip or crack is intended to restore the structural integrity of the glass and the safety of your vehicle - the blemish will not be completely removed.

  • If your vehicle contains ADAS systems on its windshield, Glassperts Auto Glass will perform a recalibration of the safety systems. In the event that the ADAS systems in your vehicle have issues after replacement and initial recalibration, please contact us to correct the issue free of charge.

  • Prior to and after repairs and replacements, Glassperts technicians will perform inspections to note the state of your vehicle and identify any damage. Any findings will be documented along with the finished repair in the pre and post inspection forms.

  • When ADAS systems are present, it is imperative and required to recalibrate your windshield in the event of a replacement. Glassperts Auto Glass will not be held liable for replacing a windshield and not performing the necessary procedures to ensure your vehicle is road safe and ready. 

  • ​Glassperts Auto Glass is not responsible for any damage or issues your vehicle may have prior to our service or liable for any damage that is incurred that is not a result of the workmanship that was performed or the equipment and materials used.

  • ​Additionally, other damage that is not covered under the lifetime warranty include damage caused by road debris, accidents, vandalism, misuse, improper care, or other external forces.

  • Any defects found in the parts installed must be reported to Glassperts Auto Glass within 30 days of installation.
